Drink Like A Genius: Cork Crafting | DIY Cork Coasters

Wondering what to do with all your extra corks? One of our favorite cork projects is making coasters for future glasses of wine from the corks we have let lying around. It’s so easy!

Here's what you'll need:

🍷 Wine corks (cut down into 4ths)

🍷 A hot glue gun and glue sticks

🍷 Ribbon of your choice

First, slice your corks down to size using a kitchen knife, then arrange them into circles that will be the shape of your coaster.

Then, simply glue them together using a hot glue gun, and run a bit of ribbon around the outside to reinforce the shape and add a little color.

That’s it! You’ve got yourself a DIY coaster! Try it out at home and make the most of your corks. Remember to keep your Cork Genius handy to open wine without a corkscrew and keep a steady supply of perfectly intact corks ready for your next project!
